Having been with the firm only one year, Chris has made a significant impact as the Department Head for the civil engineers. He brings more than 20 years of professional experience with him from his last employer, the City of Reno. Chris is an expert in hydrology and hydraulics, but it’s his knowledge of the Truckee Meadows planning process and respect amongst the governmental agencies which speak volumes about his ability to succeed as a partner.

Douglas Buck, PE, Director of Water Resources Engineering
With more than 5 years at JCPD and over 10 years of experience in planning, civil engineering, and construction, Douglas provides a broad scope of knowledge and expertise to the firm and its customers. Value engineering and constructability are integral to his designs. His substantial experience in grading, water, reclaimed water, and storm drain and sewer systems benefits both land development and public works projects.
